Here are a few answers to the most popular questions we have been asked lately...
Do I need a booking?
If you're coming with a group of 6 or more, a booking is definitely recommended. Just send us a quick email/facebook message/text message to 0404331280 letting us know what date, what time and how many people. If you have a smaller group and would like to make a booking, this is totally fine too!
What if I don't have a booking?
We will always do our best to squeeze you in, however with the current COVID restrictions, this might not always be possible. If you're happy to risk it, feel free to pop in and try your luck!
What do I do there?
Surprisingly, we get this question a lot! At Ohana, you're welcome to grab a couple of small tasters on the house to work out what you like, then make your purchases. Otherwise you can grab a big, boozy tasting paddle! The paddles are a great way to taste a wider range of our products and make for an awesome insta photo. We can also serve pots and schooners of cider or glasses of wine, so if you're in the mood for a sesh we can do that too!
Can I do a tour?
Yes! We have scheduled a few tours over the festive period. Tours are a great way to learn a bit more about the cider making process and to have a closer look at our facility.
Tours are $15 per adult, and last for around one and a half hours. Under 18's are welcome on the tour free of charge. Bookings essential! If we don't meet the minimum number for the tour to go ahead we would still love for you to visit us! We may offer you the option of a refund, to change your tour booking to a different date or "in store credit" to use towards purchases after your cellar door tastings.
Do you serve lunch?
Not really! We serve simple 'cheese n bikkies', 165g of Kenilworth cheddar cheese, with crackers and tomato relish - perfect to snack on while you sip your tasting paddle! We try our best to always have these on hand, so no special bookings are required. You're also welcome to BYO snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
Can I order 'click and collect' purchases?
Yes! You can shop online via our online store, and select Free In-Store Pick Up. We will put together your order as quick as we can and let you know as soon as your order is ready for collection.
