The holidays are always such a busy time in Bundaberg, we love meeting all our regulars visiting friends and family, but there are also a heap of newbies to town. To make it easier, here’s the answer to some super common questions we get at this time of year….

Do I need to book?

We are a pretty small venue, so if you’re coming with a large group (say, 6 or more) we would love for you to give us a heads up. We are usually pretty busy serving customers and can’t always answer the phone, so shooting Zoe a text on 0404331280 with your group size and time of arrival often works best. Please don’t be too late to your booking – we can only hold your table for 15 minutes past your arrival time. After that we will have to open it back up for walk-in customers. If you’re not sure what time you will make it, feel free to try your luck as a walk in. If you’re a smaller group (just a couple or two) we are usually pretty good at finding a spot to squeeze you in!

Can we bring the kids?

Of course! Under 18’s are always welcome at Ohana! As a working winery, we are definitely geared towards adults, however we serve a few flavours of Bundaberg Brewed soft drinks and have plenty of chalk for little ones to decorate our footpaths with. Parents are encouraged to BYO kid friendly activities (books, colouring in stuff, devices) and you’re welcome to bring your little ones favourite snacks.

Are you dog-friendly?

Friendly, leashed pets are also welcome at Ohana! Please bear in mind that our School Holiday periods are always a lot busier than usual at Ohana – so, we will leave it up to you to decide if that’s an environment your furry friend will be comfortable with.

Do you serve lunch?

We serve super simple Cheese n Bikkies platters, featuring 165g of Kenilworth cheddar cheese, plain crackers and tomato relish. It’s delicious and the perfect something to nibble on with your tastings. If you’re looking for something more substantial, there are a huge range of awesome cafés in Bundaberg serving up the best of Bundy’s fresh produce.

Can I BYO?

We serve a huge range of hand-crafted, boutique ciders, wines and fortifieds – you are NOT permitted to BYO any alcoholic beverages. You can, however, BYO any non-alcoholic drinks or snacks.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to shoot us a text or call 0404331280, send us an email to info@ohanawinery.com.au or send us a message on Facebook.

We can’t wait to see you all soon!
